    Hello, Ibnab.

Please, make sure that you have channel with type B2B – you can check list of your channels in System > Channels. If you don’t have it – please, create new one.

Some data in OroCRM should relate to one of channels (come via these channels) – out of the box there are B2B, Magento and custom channels. Sales entities (Leads, Opprtunities etc.) are relate to B2B channel – i.e. if you don’t have any B2B channel, you should not be able to interact with these entities and as a consequence should not be able to see them in menu.

Yes, these entities depends on channel itself. But if you create, for instance, new Lead from UI then your B2B channel will be assigned automatically. In OroCRM sales entities have come via B2B channel.

To check how all this functionality works you can install demo data and play with them.

    Hi Ibnab,

The Sales tab becomes available only when you add at least one channel to the CRM. Because everyone has a different needs from their CRM, there is no one-fits-all solution for a default sales entity set, and therefore the “clean” installation has none available.

In order to start working with Leads and Opportunities you need to create a channel of B2B type, as Yevhen suggested. This action will enable these entities in your system.

Hope that helps. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

    Thanks!
