    Hi,

    In the user guide section I found the whenever you create a Contact, the username field located in the general section is mandatory and it is used for login in the system.

    I installed 1.9 and 1.7 versions but I am unable to find this field.

    Is this a misconfiguration, or was it available in a previous version?

    Hello.

    This is mistake in documentation, thank you very much for noticing – we’ll fix it ASAP.
    Contact can’t be used for login – this is an entity to store contact information data. To login you should use User entity.
