1. Tasks, Calls and Cases are not listed in the Calendar, widget or main. They should appear on both, so you have a better overview of your day and past activity.
2. You cannot link a Calendar event to a Task, and vice versa.
3. You cannot link a Calendar event to a Call, and vice versa.
4. You cannot link a Calendar event to a Case, and vice versa.
So at this moment the Calendar shows only “manually generated Calendar items”, which is basically double-work. If yesterday I made a Call I should find that as an event in the Calendar, so I know whom I called in that specific day. If I have a deadline (Task) today I should see that in the Calendar. Also if a Case needs to be solved today at 16:00, I should see that in the Calendar.
If these are to hard to implement you could make a simple “Today” widget, that shows you everything you have to do today, ordered by time. Still my personal opinion is that integrating these events into the Calendar is the best way to do it, as I’m thinking in perspective (with Google Calendar integration => Win!).
