    I recently did a reinstallation of OroCommerce 1.2 with the demo data but for some reason I don’t see the category images. The only error I see in the logs is for the missing image because the system is expecting it to be there. I made sure the permissions are correct (they are). I also made sure that the cron was running as well as the message queue consumer (presuming that this might be a background task). I’m still not seeing category images.

    If someone could point me to where these images would be generated, I can work through this issue from there. Thanks.

    Hello,
    Images are generated in the web/media directory. You can check specific directory of an image by seeing source code of a page. I would say your web server has no write permissions to web/media or some subdirectory.

    Please, bring more details about what category, what exactly image is not showing (small/large) and where (frontend/backend)?

    Thanks for your suggestion wgozdzicki but permissions was the very first thing I checked since it’s the most common problem and there were no issues there. I checked quite a few other items as well but I couldn’t find any other obvious issues.

    Oddly enough, since I posted this three category images have generated on their own. At first I was hoping this was due to me re-saving the category images via the admin, but this only worked for three of the categories and the rest are still missing images.

    What I really need now is for someone to point me to where the category_medium image is generated. I can see the images.yml file where it is defined but I’m not certain where that is actually processed. If I can get to that part of the code I should be able figure out what’s actually going on in my setup.
