Add new field on register form customer user

Hi masters,

I want to add new column on register form, using
Select option type varchar, I just read on documentation related to add properties core entity. Is it correct documentation ? Or is there any best practice how to develop it? And where is the file that should be customized in order to specify select option of new column?

Hi Rio.

Unfortunately, adding new fields to core entities wont help you in this case.

To add new field to registration form you can use symfony form type extensions
You need to add new field to this customer registration form

After you add this field, you will need to process it somehow. Unfortunately, you will have to override this registration controller. To do this, please look at symfony documentation
